Mary let out a soft purr as she stretched out on the bed, that she guessed she could call hers now. After all, sleeping every night for a week in a bed probably implied some form of ownership. It had been a week since the Gala at the Lord Mayors house. Andrew had been absolutely right, she had not wanted for choice of escorts home. She had brushed off the advances of the younger officers and nobles, she knew the intent behind their offers, it was far less noble than their station would suggest. A woman had to be cautious, especially when in her state of dress. Mary was just happy that Andrew had brought some proper shoes. She eventually accepted the offer of an old captain, a bald man covered in scars who wore rifleman’s green with pride. He regaled her with old war stories as they walked, she guessed he must have been at least sixty to seventy years old, which made him little more than a pup compared to her. But he didn't need to know that. Needless to say he conveyed her safely home with no one accosting her. She did feel the faint feeling of being watched, but that was probably just the drunkards getting out from the pub.

It had been a wonderful night, well save for that odd presence in the back ground. That still bothered her, hanging around the back of her mind. When her eyes closed she could still make out the outline of the mysterious woman. It was slender, almost elfin in proportion. And it was a slightly darker shade of gold than Andrews, aura she guessed was the right term, she wasn't sure exactly what that meant in the grand scheme of things. Maybe it implied a deeper connection to magic? All this was new to her, which was strange for a member of a magical breed like the Huldra. One would think that she would well versed in magic, and it was true her kind did master the art of charms, it was all minor league stuff compared to what she read about. She was spending more and more time exploring the city through out the week. But today, a Friday, Andrew had entrusted her with minding the store while he went to talk with a friend about a show. The thought of another show made her slightly giddy, she was rapidly becoming an addict for this sort of thing. She should be worried, but in all honesty, there were more crippling things to be hooked into.

She got dressed and prepared quickly, humming to her self. It was refreshing to be trusted enough by Andrew to mind his shop. Well the idea was nifty any way, the reality was just boring. Hardly anyone came in, and those that did were just browsing. One had to wonder if it was boring all the time. Which would explain why Andrew was so excited to see her when she first walked in. Things picked up slightly during the lunch hour, a banker came in to buy a present for his daughters birthday. That was the only highlight of the entire day. And at five in the evening, exactly as she was asked too, she put up the sign in front window. It read “Closed to all, no exceptions.” well, she wold of had a woman not stormed into the shop.

“Um hello there?” She stammered as the stranger blew past her. “I was just about to close up, you can come back tomorrow morning if you want.” She summoned up all her indignation, this was incredibly rude of this woman.

“hmmmmm, paltry selection, mostly bits and baubles of low enchantment.” the woman looked young, her body was hard to discern in the heavy black coat and dress. “where is Mr. Havisham?” her strange eyes locked onto Mary's.

“H..he's not here right now if I could take a message.” her voice trailed off as she gazed into the woman’s eyes, they were purple with swirls of green in them.

“Strange, rumors hold him to be a master illusion builder.” her face snapped off to look through the shelf of plans. The strange feelings subsided as she did. “I had hoped to discuss a partnership with him.”

“Well I'm sure if you came back in the morning he'd be happy to discuss matter with you.” Mary tried to suppress the urge to beat this woman with something heavy.

“You have performed with him before.” it was not anything close to a question. “you will know him, tell me then, do you trust him?” She leaned in close, she was smaller than Mary.

“w...why yes, what kind of a question.” She started to get indignant. “Who the hell are you to ask that?”

“Hmph.” the woman looked proud of something, and that's when Mary noticed her hair, it matched her eyes, black with highlights of dark green and purple. “oh you have no idea little girl.”

“I am no child, I am a woman of the pines.” Mary snarled at the woman, who was disconcertingly calm. “who are you?”

“hmph, you younger fey need respect for your elders dear, Andrew conjured me by Mab.” the slender creature suddenly looked a lot older and scarier than her sweet face suggested. “Andrew was my brightest student.”

Few creatures native to the islands conjured by Mab, and of those, only the most powerful could teach a mortal man magic. That was the illusive Queen Mab, long ago she had made a deal with Odin to take control of magic from him for a few passionate nights of intense sex. Since then she had reigned as a goddess in her own right. She was known to be fickle, teaching men and women magic as it suited her fancy. And one of those lucky students was Andrew. Then her mind told her she had offered insult to the queen of magic.

“m....m....my apologies your highness!” Mary fell into a deep bow. “Please don't turn me into anything hideous and evil.”

“oh heavens above child.” She chuckled slightly. “no, I will not change you, it would rob the world of such a lovely face.” Mabs soft hands cradled her cheeks gently as she helped Mary to her feet.

Mary blushed nervously, compared to Mab's picture of composed perfection, Mary must of looked like a wrecked carriage.

“Now that introductions are finally out of the way, I was told Andrew had designed a new effect. Do you know anything about it?”

“No, but he might of left a note about it. Let me check.”

Mary rustled around the shop counters mountains of papers, she could see Mab watching her out of the corner her eye. She bent over and let her tail show itself, as it flicked and danced the air. Might as well give the visiting royalty a bit of a show. Mary couldn't really tell if she was enjoying the show. She found a note that Andrew had left, under the till. That man was clearly absent minded, she wondered how he managed to work such feats of magic with such a loosely bolted on head. True enough the note did mention that he was expecting a visit from his teacher a woman named Mab.

“well, it turns out he was expecting you.” Mary held up the note. “and I am supposed to show you his new trick, not sure how exactly.”

“oh, I'm sure you'll think of something.” Mab's simple smile filled her with pride.

“well follow me then.” Mary could only smile back nervously as she led the queen of magic down to the workshop.

As the pair descended the stairs, the lamps flickered to life, instantly banishing the darkness. A strange frame stood in the center of the room. It was eggshell white, about four and a half feet tall, and it had two open spaces one at about chest level one foot down and another six inches below that ran to the base. Mab poked around the frame for a few minutes, checking every inch of the frame. Her eyes shifted and sparkled as she inspected.

“Yes, good materials, strong enchantments, sturdy construction. Yes this is more in line with my students work.” She purred under her breath. “I've no clue what effect all these enchantments add up to though.”

“Is that a problem?” The huldra followed Mab around.

“well I need to be certain this won't blow up in my face if I use it.” Mab turned to her with a grin. “And there is only one sure fire way to check for safety!”

“I'm going to need to go into this thing, right?” Mary sighed, trying to hide her excitement.

“of course! There is no real option!” Mab was not even trying to hide the giddiness in her voice as she pushed Mary around to the back of the frame.

Mab was a flurry of motion as she unlocked and lowered the back of the frame in one swift spin. She wasn't the restrained showman that Andrew was, her movements were all quick bursts of energy. It was like she had a drank a full glass of sugar laced water every second she lived. She pulled Mary into the box, locking her in before she could voice any protest. Then she saw Mab pick up a pair of fabric covers, which were placed over the upper openings.

“Are you sure this is safe?” Mary whimpered slightly. “I don't even know how this trick is supposed to work!”

“oh, do you not trust me?” Mab leaned in and stole a kiss from Mary's quivering lips.

The Huldra just blinked in shock. The petite woman felt a mix of arousal and outrage, after all Mab wasn't a bad looking creature. But she could not get over the sheer gall of the act. To simply take a kiss, with out even asking. Where she not helplessly trapped, she would of slapped the piss out of her.

“My apologies, I could not help myself.” Mab was, blushing. Was she just as embarrassed as Mary was? “you just..... I'm sorry.”

“Enough, lets just get this trick done.” Mary narrowed her eyes, trying to hide any feelings behind a mask of rage.

“Very well then,” Without a hint of warning she thrust her hand through the black fabric cover, and through Mary's body. “Let us try this effect out.”

It was a strange feeling, she could feel Mab's arm sliding through her body, and a strange warm sensation emanated from the arm inside her. Mary stifled a moan as more of Mab's arms slid in and out of her body. It was a strange feeling, and she let out a soft squeak as the arm slid out fully.

“t..that was rather odd.” She panted softly.

“indeed, I've never seen a pass-wall spell used in such a manner!” Mab looked like a child on Christmas morning.

She ran about to the back of the frame.

“now, just hold on to something, cause if that last one felt good, this should feel amazing.” Mab whispered in her ear.

Mary was confused for a brief split second before she felt a larger wave of that pleasurable warmth. It felt like Mab's whole head was pushing its way through. The feeling was intense, and she couldn't hold back the loud moan of pleasure this time. The feelings inside her body dropped off, probably Mab's neck entering her body. She could see the black fabric cover bulge slightly. Then things got really intense, Mab's shoulders pressed into her. Mary threw her head back, her knees wobbling slightly. She bit her lip hard to fight back any lewder noises from coming out, one had to keep some dignity after all. Looking down she could see Mab's smiling face sliding from the cover.

“ooh, I see you are enjoying this trick.” She was chuckling as her shoulders slid out.

The rest of her body passed through mary swiftly, her long legs sliding out slowly from the frame after a few minutes. Her out fit had changed from the very traditional dress to the something that would shock even the most hedonistic of performers in Neo-London. She was wearing black high heels and black fishnet stockings. Over her chest she wore the top of a tight fitting tuxedo jacket. Something black and made of satin covered the area between her legs. It looked like it continued up under the tuxedo. Her hands were covered by white silken gloves that seemed to shimmer slightly in the blue lights. Her head was capped by a top hat cocked at a rakish angle.

“what do you think dear? Worthy of the queen of magic or not?” She giggled as she danced around behind Mary.

“w..well it looks good on you.” Mary tried to turn to face Mab.

She heard the clicking of the locks behind her and stepped out. Then she heard the unmistakable rattling of the locks on the front door opening.

“Mary! I'm back!”

Nice illusion!
Will there be more of Mab performing with Mary?
